How much does sandblasting cost?

There is no single price, because every job is different. What drives the cost is the size of the surface or item, how much paint, rust or coating has to come off, how delicate the surface is, which abrasive or media is needed, access and setup, containment and cleanup needs, whether the job is dry or dustless, and travel distance. That's why we quote after we see the job — you see the price before we start. You can also try our sandblasting cost calculator to see how the main factors move the cost.

Do you really come to me?

Yes. Pineywoods Mobile Sandblasting is a 100% mobile service. The crew brings the compressor, blast pot, hoses, abrasive or media, protective gear and containment tarps to your home, driveway, business, ranch, marina, job site, plant or yard. The job site, access and setup are confirmed when the job is booked.

What do I need to have ready before you arrive?

Mainly access and a parking spot for the rig, and sometimes a water source for dustless work. We protect the surroundings with tarps and containment, and we clean up spent abrasive and debris before we leave. We'll tell you anything else the job needs when we confirm the visit.

Do you clean up afterward?

We do. The crew contains the work area, covers nearby cars, plants and windows, and cleans up spent abrasive and debris. We follow local rules for dust, noise and runoff. You're left with a clean surface you can hand to your painter, coater or restoration shop.

Can you work in an HOA neighborhood?

Often, yes — and dustless blasting is built for exactly that, because mixing water with abrasive cuts airborne dust by a large amount. Jobs in HOA neighborhoods, marinas, cemeteries and commercial sites happen only with the owner's or manager's permission, and we follow the rules that apply.

What areas do you serve?

We serve Houston, TX and the north and west suburbs — Katy, Cypress, The Woodlands, Spring, Conroe, Humble, Tomball, Magnolia, Kingwood, Fulshear, Atascocita, Shenandoah and Oak Ridge North. Customers elsewhere in the Houston area can call to check whether the crew can reach them.

Do you paint or powder coat after blasting?

No. We blast and prep the surface, and you hand the cleaned surface to your painter, coater or restoration shop afterward. We do not paint, prime, powder coat or apply any finish. That clean, bare surface is what lets a finish hold.
