Paint & Rust Removal in Houston, TX

This is stripping paint and rust on-site from trucks, cars, trailers, equipment and frames. Car frame sandblasting and truck sandblasting take a caked, rusty frame down to clean bare steel so it can be repaired and painted. Trailer and boat-trailer blasting handles the rust that builds up on anything towed through salt and water. Tractors and farm equipment, lawn and construction equipment, chassis, suspension parts and wheels, gates, fences and metal buildings all come to us coated in old paint and rust — and we blast it off where the equipment sits.

Thin sheet metal body panels can warp under aggressive blasting, so the method and media are chosen after we see the part — frame work takes harder media than thin panels. Surfaces with lead paint need special handling. We tell you straight what suits the job.

Paint on homes, brick, metal, trailers and older vehicles from before 1978 may contain lead. Older painted surfaces may need to be tested for lead and handled under the rules that apply.

What's Included

Car Frame Sandblasting

A car or truck frame caked in rust and old undercoating comes to us rough. Car frame sandblasting strips it down to clean bare steel so the frame can be inspected, repaired and painted. We blast the frame where it sits — on stands in a driveway or a shop — and you hand the bare steel to your painter or restoration shop.

Truck Sandblasting

Truck sandblasting handles everything from a work truck frame to a cab and bed. The same rust and paint that coats a frame coats a truck, and blasting takes it down to bare metal so it's ready for paint or coating. We blast on-site at your driveway or yard.

Trailer & Boat-Trailer Blasting

Anything towed through salt and water rusts — boat trailers especially. We blast the rust off trailers and boat trailers so the frame is clean and ready for paint or galvanizing. Houston's boat trailers near Lake Conroe, Lake Houston, Kingwood and Atascocita keep this work busy.

Tractors & Farm Equipment

Tractors, mowers, and farm and construction equipment build up paint and rust where they work outdoors. We blast it off so the equipment is ready to paint. Horse properties, ranches and acreage around Magnolia, Tomball, Fulshear and Katy keep us in equipment work.

The Blasting Side of Classic Car Restoration

Classic car restoration starts with stripping the old paint and rust off the body, frame and parts. We're the blasting side — we work alongside owners and car restoration shops to strip bodies, frames and parts so they can be repaired and painted. We do not claim to be a car restoration shop; we blast, and your shop does the rest. Why does rust have to come off completely before painting or coating? Because any rust left under a new finish keeps growing and lifts the coating — so the surface has to be clean first.

Wheels & Rims

Wheels and rims build up brake dust, old paint and corrosion. We blast them clean so they're ready for paint or powder coating — your coater applies the finish. The right media depends on the wheel material; we choose it after we see the wheels.

Why This Matters Here

Hurricane Harvey in 2017 flooded large parts of Kingwood, Humble, Atascocita, Cypress and Katy, and Hurricane Beryl in 2024 and the May 2024 windstorm brought more damage. Flood-rusted frames, boat trailers and farm equipment come to us caked in rust and scale.

Care & Prevention Tips

Get blasted steel primed or coated quickly, because bare steel flash-rusts fast in Houston humidity. Rinse boat trailers with fresh water after every launch. Touch up chips before rust spreads, and keep up with a coating maintenance plan on equipment that lives outdoors.

Paint & Rust Removal FAQ

How much does it cost to sandblast a vehicle?

There is no single price, because it depends on the size, how many layers of paint and rust, how much of the vehicle is blasted, and body panels versus frame. A full frame is different from a body shell or a single panel. That's why we quote after we see the vehicle — you see the price before we start. Try our sandblasting cost calculator to see how the main factors move the cost.

Will sandblasting warp my car's body panels?

Aggressive blasting can warp thin sheet metal, which is why we choose the media and pressure for the part — gentler media for thin body panels, harder media for a frame. The right method is decided after we see the panel. We tell you straight if a panel is too thin for blasting.

Can you blast a frame without removing the body?

Often, yes — frame work can be done with the body on, depending on access. We tell you what's possible after we see the vehicle. Where the body needs to come off for a full restoration, that's your restoration shop's call; we do the blasting side.
